I also booted into safe mode and ran the installer there.
In each case I ran Windows compatibility troubleshooter but to no avail. I would like to also add that I am new to FUSION 360 and just wanted to put my experience out there. So far, I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 different versions of the manufacturer's 'Logitech options' utility: 6.3.80, 6.440.169 and 6.50.60. Maybe in the future if 3DCONNECTION CAD mouse integrates better with MACBOOK AIR 2021 and updates from microUSB and USB-A dongle I will look into their products, even their SPACE MOUSE WIRELESS. I don't understand why the PAN and ORBIT function have been so difficult to coincide as mouse functions with Logitech and Fusion360. I also tried assigning shift to one of the mouse buttons to be able to invoke orbit with the middle mouse button and for some reason that doesn't work.
